Set against the backdrops of Grattan Gardens and Prahran Market, seven up-and-coming artists will display their acoustic talents at Midday Melodies spanning two days.
The first day, featuring artists Hannah Bella, Picton and Alice Ruby, is from 11:00am – 1:00pm on Friday17th of April at Grattan Gardens.
On Saturday 18th of April, artists Matthew K., Ava C., James Williams and Harry George will be playing from 11:00am-1:00pm at Prahran Market.
To keep yourselves busy, you can take a try at the games set up and interact with features, like a photo wall, across the space.
This event is smoke-, alcohol-, and drug-free, but is full of fun.
Transport details:
Stop 30 on the #74 tram. Prahran market should be right in front of you, and the gardens are just down Grattan Street. If taking the train is your preferred mode of transport, Prahran Station is closest.
This event is wheelchair accessible and is for all ages!

Hannah Vella
Hannah Vella is a singer-songwriter from the Bellarine Peninsula. With a cheeky, sultry edge, she explores modern love, being confused and the messy thrill of figuring it all out. Influenced by Faye Webster, Julia Jacklin, and Amy Winehouse, her music blends alt-rock, soul and folk, driven by her blue electric guitar and clear, syrupy vocals.

Picton
Picton is a 18-year-old musician from Melbourne, Australia, making alternative music as part of a solo project. Their debut album, "Tell Me I Should Run," is an amalgamation of tracks made from months before release to two years prior. Artists such as Adrianne Lenker, Connie Converse, Twain, and Alice Pheobe Lou have inspired the writing and production of this music.

Harry George
Harry is a nineteen-year-old singer, trumpet and piano player from the Stonnington area He iscurrently studying jazz and improvisation at the Melbourne conservatorium. Harry's sound is primarily soul/funk/jazz infused pop, with my biggest inspirations being Stevie Wonder, Curtis Mayfield, The Beatles, Tom Petty, Erykah Badu and heaps more.
